10 Things I'd Like To Do Before I Die

1. Show my paintings in a gallery.
2. Take my kids to a foreign country to volunteer our time and energy with a program like the World Hands Project.
3. Build and live in a Green house.
4. Start and run my own web design and development business.
5. Run a marathon.
6. Talk to my parents about some things that are tough to talk about.
7. See my kids graduate from college, get married, and have their own children if they choose to do those things. I just don't want to miss the good stuff.

(still working on 8 through 10)

What would you like to accomplish before you die?

Hillary,
I like your 10 Things I'd Like to do Before I Die List. I also like
that you haven't finished it. You
shouldn't have it finished it at
your age, even in your situation.
You should be toying with it,
adding to it, tweaking it.

I started such a list long before
I even got sick. Mostly because I
was afraid I'd forget the things I
wanted to do during the grind of
my daily life. This new list is
altered a bit because some of the
things on it just wouldn't be
possible to do anymore. They are
not in any order of importance.

1 Visit Europe and/or Alaska
2.Take a college class.
3.See my son graduate high school.
4.Volunteer at elementary school.
5.Teach someone to do something.
6.Attend a Bruce Springsteen
concert.
7.Work in a wildlife rescue center
8.Live alone.
9.Do alot of fun things with my
grandchildren.
10.Spend alot of time with friends

I hope this list changes only
because I've done some of these
things and need to add to it.

I love your list! Funny, I was going to add Alaska onto my list too. Such a fascinating place.

Good advice on not completing it. I have such chemo brain right now I can't remember them without writing them down. :) I don't think I'll limit it to 10, either.

You have a wonderful list, can't wait to see 8-10. I have been following your story since I found your blog back in July and you were talking about running. You are quite an inspiration.
